6.8-Magnitude Earthquake Shocks India’s North-East Early Morning
A powerful earthquake of 6.8-magnitude shook Myanmar-India border region at 4:35 a.m. and the epicenter was 33 km away from Imphal, Manipur state, in India.
Tremors of the quake were in several parts of northeast India including Nagaland, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
The ripples were also felt in West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Aurangabad.
Bangladesh too felt the jolt.
