Amazon To Launch $50 Tablet This Fall Amid Poor Demand Of Fire
Online retail giant Amazon is planning to come up with a $50 tablet by this fall as it struggles to sell the pricier devices.
It is reported the Android-based Amaon tablets dubbed as Fire or Kindle Fire are not selling as expected compared to its Kindle e-readers. The cheapest model as of now is $79.
The upcoming tablet to sport a 6-inch screen and to come with a mono speaker instead of stereo.
It is also being tipped the online retail giant is working on 8-inch and 10-inch tablets and these too will be sold cheaper than the existing counterpart.
The 10-inch will be Amazon’s largest tablet.
