Bharatiya Janata Party chief Amit Shah has warned workers and supporters of his party in Delhi to avoid posting or commenting fake items online so that people don’t lose trust in them.

Shah added while addressing to the “social media warriors” at the NDMC convention centre in the capital that they should highlight the achievements of Modi government in past four years after coming to power in the center.

A participant to the meet said, “The party president asked us to avoid committing mistake of posting fake pictures, data and messages on Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms. He said such action endangers our credibility before the people.”

About 300 BJP workers and supporters attended the meet and it said they in total have over 10,000 followers on social platform.

The chief advised the attendees to use online social platform in analyzing and comparing works and achievements of the party with those of Congress regimes.

He added efforts should also be made in expanding the reach of social media by increasing followers on the social platforms so that all the posts and tweets get maximum visibility.

Apart from tbe “social media warriors” meet Amit Shah also attended SC Morcha and core group meetings in the city. It is learned road map for next year’s election was discussed.
