The crowd was triggered as several reports earlier talked about Apple may not be able to fulfil the demand of its 10th anniversary iPhone and so many buyers could be left disappointed.

People didn’t only gathered in India for the device. Many started lining up from Thursday outside Apple’s New York City stores.

The 64GB iPhone X is priced Rs 89,000 in India and you need to depart with Rs 1,02,000 for the 256GB version. With this the Apple phone becomes most expensive smartphone in India after Pixel 2 XL that was pre-ordered at Rs 73,000 for the base variant.

Last month Apple launched its iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in India at Rs 64,000 for the 64GB variant and Rs 77,000 for the 256GB model respectively.

iPhone x sports a 5.8-inch Super Retina screen equipped with Face ID, wireless charging, all glass, and surgical-grade stainless steel body.
