Apple TV To Be Unveiled On Sept 9, To Come At Double Price Tag

The iPhone event will be held on September 9 and it is expected the iDevice giant may also showcase its new Apple TV on the day. So far, so good, but if believed to 9to5Mac website, the gadget will come at expensive price tag, between $149 and $199.

Know, this is a big jump as the earlier version was tagged at $69.

If the report comes to be true, the Apple TV to come more expensive than Google’s Chromecast and Telstra’s upcoming Roku that is expected to cost about $100.

There are more rumors about the new device of Apple. It is said to come with improved features as the earlier version didn’t have any major update since 2012 when it was launched.

Rumors suggest the new Apple TV may come with a Nintendo Wii-esque motion-sensitive remote for easy navigation and can convert the device into a gaming machine.

The website also writes the new Apple TV App Store will be launched and Siri support will be added advantage to the device.

Meanwhile, it is also said Apple has plans of deploying an Internet TV service to its new Apple TV by next year. The service will also be provided to the cheaper current generation Apple TV.

The Internet TV will be made available on in the US and viewers may also enjoy some big cable TV channels too on it.
