Apple’s Siri To Be A Lot Brainier With AI In 2017
Apple’s Siri voice assistant is to become lot smarter in 2017 compared to what it was updated in past few years. It is learned to be enhanced with artificial intelligence (AI).
The 2017 will be 10th anniversary of the original iPhone and surely the Cupertino guys are to come up with some big changes with possibly called the iPhone 8. The device may come equipped with an edge-to-edge display along with glass body.
The smarter and a lot brainier Siri would be an addition to the big change.
If believed to Huawei, its Honor Magic model is using AI for sensors and settings too like it shows notifications on lock screen only after knowing the owner is using the phone.
HTC too announced using AI in its U Ultra and U Play phones to help users seamlessly customize experience.
Until now Apple has not commented on AI use in its smartphones, but Siri is for sure to be powered with the tool as so far the company’s voice assistance is behind the rival Google’s combination of voice search, Google Now and Google’s AI Assistance.
Amazon too has been doing well with its own Alexa assistant, which is now being used in more devices including GE lamps and Nucleus Anywhere Intercoms.
More to all these, Apple didn’t do much for Siri last year and so the 2017 will be challenging for the company.
