Arvind Kejriwal comes down harshly on Delhi police
Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, on Thursday expressed his sheer displeasure on the working of Delhi police saying that Delhi police was highly compromised. He said that whatever crime was not happening in Delhi was not because of them but because of god’s grace. Arvind Kejriwal said that the security of people in Delhi has been left on God.
Arvind pointed out the need to increase the security in the capital city after A Danish woman was raped by a group of vagabonds in New Delhi. He said that he would meet commissioner of Delhi and Governor to discuss on the causes of increasing Rape cases in delhi.
Earlier he had also asked police to suspend four officers after news came that they had refused to accept the case against sex and drug workers.
He demanded that station house officers of the sagarpur and Malviya Nagar police stations and two assistant commissioners of policed be immediately suspended for their negligence in duty and not arresting the member of a family who allegedly set their daughter in law on fire.
He assured that the scenario of Delhi will change soon and those found guilty will be punished.
