He added the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister would make an announcement soon of an idea of 150-metre tall Lord Ram statue in the temple town

It is learned the saints in Ayodhya are pressing the government to build a statue of Lord Ram in the city and it should be similar to that of Sardar Patel, Statue of Unity. If believed to the initial reports the statue would be built near the Saryu river.

Modi inaugurated the 182-metre statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31 as a tribute to India’s ‘Iron Man’.

Modi said, Sardar Patel brought together the princely states and this is the reason people of India does not need visa to see Charminar in Hyderabad and lions of Gir.
Patel was made the home minister of the country at a very crucial period in the history of India.

Modi said India is celebrating today Rashtriya Ekta Diwas while celebrating the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel.

Tourists will come to see Sardar Patel’s 2,900-crore Statue of Unity would also explore the Vindhya and Satpura mountains as well as the Satpura Dam, explained Modi while addressing to the crowd.

The statue is currently world’s tallest after China’s Spring Temple Buddha statue.
