BJP Unit in Telangana Launches Innovative Platform to Connect With Party Activists
The BJP unit in Telangana on Thursday launched a unique and innovative platform for digital content distribution which will help the leaders at the headquarters to connect with the party activists in different parts of the state.
G Kishan Reddy, Telangana BJP president and MLA, said that this platform enables the party activists to remain linked through their mobile phones. There is no need for 3G technology. They will be able to send audio and video clippings which can be downloaded by the activists. They will be able to hear or watch the speeches of Modiji, Vajpayeeji and they will get instant information about the development programmes by the Centre and also the information about various party activities.
The technology was developed by a US-based company called Kiora Inc and it is named as “Maanas” which means mind in Hindi. This is the first time this patented technology is getting implemented in the country. Reddy said that this technology will allow the BJP leaders in Telangana to reach out to the party workers, even in the remotest villages in the state.
According to a representative of the Kiora Inc, the technology makes it possible for the workers to download the video, audio, e-magazines wirelessly even without using internet.
BJP is a party which uses hi-tech methods to promote their party. BJP used the 3D holographic projection for the first time in 2014 Lok Sabha elections in more than 100 locations across the country to relay the public addresses made by Narendra Modi.
PM Modi first used this method in Gujarat assembly election to get maximum effect for the election campaigning.
The 3D projection technology produces high definition image captured in 3 dimensions and projected at multiple points at the same time. The viewer will get the feeling that they are actually interacting with the person in the image. There is no need to use any 3D glasses to see the images.
This technology has enabled Modi to reach to the maximum people in the country without being actually present in various locations.
The BJP leaders in Telangana are hopeful that they will be able to improve their cadre base in the state with the new technology implemented. We can also expect that the BJP units in other states will also soon follow the method used by their Telangana counterparts to improve their communication with the party workers and to transmit their views and ideologies to more people.
