DLF Gardencity observes Fire Service Week

Gurgaon, April 19: DLF Gardencity organized fire safety drills at their residential developments- New Town Heights, Sector 86, 90 and 91 in Gurgaon. The exercise was held to commemorate the Fire Service Week observed from April 14-20.The national theme for this year is “Firemen- Your Partner for Saving Life and Property”.

The program commenced with demonstrations to highlight the emergency-response readiness of the fire service personnel. Residents were educated on the emergency procedures to empower them for coping with fire-related incidents.

Mock fire drills and trainings are conducted on regular basis at DLF Gardencity. It is in in line with their continued efforts to provide a safe and secure living experience for the residents.

“The fire drill gave us valuable tips on protecting our lives as well as our home. We were educated on immediately evacuating the building via the shortest route. I hope that DLF Gardencity continues to organize such initiatives in future,” said Mr. Ashok Malik, a resident of DLF Gardencity.

“The session was really useful on how to prevent any untoward fire incidents and the necessary steps to be taken, in case the situation arises. As prevention is better than cure, one should always be prepared for disasters,” said Mr. Balesh Aggarwal, a resident of DLF Gardencity.

“As an organization, safety of residents has always been our utmost priority. We have been organizing mock drills as well as workshops on regular basis to spread awareness amongst residents and ensure preparedness in the event of a fire. With all the safety provisions in place, DLF Gardencity residents have access to the highest safety parameters,” said Col. Tejbir Singh, AVP (Township), DLF.
