Amid strike of junior doctors and confrontation of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee with threat ultimate daughter of Kolkata’s Mayor has come up with strong criticism on the handling of issue by the government.

Shabba Hakim raised a question why goons were surrounding the hospital campus and beating junior doctors.

The daughter of West Bengal minister Firhad Hakim wrote in a Facebook post she is ashamed being a supporter of Trinamool Congress at the inaction of state government and silence of party leaders over the demand of doctors to assure safety at work.

She asked the people to raise question on state government why the police posted at the hospital do little or nothing to protect the doctors.

Writing further on the platform close to Wednesday-Thursday midnight she asked to question the state administration why police didn’t showed up when goons loaded in two trucks showed up to the hospital campus to beat the doctors.

Shabba Hakim continued, “We have a right to peaceful protest. We have a right to safety at work.”
