FREQUENT RACIST ATTACKS IN DELHI
Two youths from the northeast were beaten up here late Sunday, a few days after the death of Arunanchal Pradesh student Nido Tania, in what his friends described as a racist attack.
The youths from Manipur were allegedly attacked by a group of motorbike riders in Ambedkar Nagar area of south Delhi on Sunday. One of the victims, reported to be in a serious condition, was undergoing treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences
Before that on 29 jan Nido Taniam, the 19-year-old student from Arunanchal Pradesh, who succumbed to injuries after an alleged racist attack in Delhi, died due to severe injuries on his head and face, a post-mortem report confirms. The autopsy elaborates that the injuries were caused by a blunt object and the internal bleeding led to Nido’s death
Nido was allegedly beaten up mercilessly by shopkeepers at Lajpat Nagar on January 29 following a quarrel over his appearance and clothing. He died in a hospital the next day.
After so many controversial crimes Delhi is now facing some more shame full problems these days …and this is a big question like who is safe in capital of India.
