Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Saturday in Uttar Pradesh’s Etah that fake friendship between Bahujan Samajwadi Party and Samajwadi Party will end on May 23, the result day of Lok Sabha elections.

Referring to the understanding between SP and Congress in 2017 the senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader added, “You all remember the friendship that was struck during the assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh that came to an end with the announcement of the results and turned into rivalry.”

Modi said further that fake frienship of ‘bua’ and ‘babua’ will similarly come to an end.

He referred Mayawati as ‘bua’ and SP president Akhilesh Yadav as ‘babua.’

Modi continued, “The date of the break up of this friendship has also been fixed. May 23, Thursday, this ‘farzi dosti’ will fall apart.”

Mayawati said Friday SP founder Mulayam Singh Yadav is a real backward unlike the prime ministers. She was addressing a joint rally of the opposition alliance in Mainpuri.

Modi attacked the opposition alliance alleging they are thinking of their selfish goals and cannot so cannot think about welfare of the deprived sections of society.

He added that the parties have been doing politics in the name of poor and amid such they have just added up wealth.
