Google Brings Science Journal App For Budding Scientists On Android

Now budding scientists too got an official Google app. It is called Science Journal. It aims to bring out the inner scientists in all of us.

Announcing in a blog post, the search giant said the Science Journal Android app will be using up the existing sensors of a phone to record data or else use an Arduino-powered add-ons to do the same.

The app will record findings and also predict models on future tests by using the light sensor, microphone or accelerometer of a phone.

For the project Google has partnered with California-based public learning laboratory Exploratorium for designing of kits like inexpensive sensors and microcontrollers to accompany the app.

The new app is part of Making & Science initiative of Google.

Science Journal is currently made available on the Google Play store.
