If BJP voted to power, Article 370 will be withdrawn from J&K: Amit Shah

Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah said if voted to power again his party will remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir alleging terror groups from Pakistan had continuously targeted India during the Congress-led UPA government.

Addressing to a rally in Palamau district in Jharkhand the senior BJP leader added, “We will remove Article 370 if you make Narendra Modi the prime minister again.”

He added that India’s security cannot be compromised and wish of Pakistan to have a separate Kashmir will not be allowed.

Attacking National conference leader Omar Abdullah for his remarks to have a separate prime minister for Kashmir he said Kashmir is an inseparable part of the country.

Shah also asked the public whether one country should have two prime ministers.

He said the party has given the nation Narendra Modi as prime minister and since his taking the office the security of India has been strengthened.

He further said, “When the nation rejoiced with sweets following the February 26 Balakot air strike, a pall of gloom descended on the Congress and Pakistan.”

Shah also ridiculed the statement of Congress leader Sam Pitroda, who said some boys had committed mistake and dropped bombs, and talks should be resumed between the two countries.
