Kotak Mahindra Bank sacked an employee reciprocating to his hate post on social media against Kathua rape victim amid heightened protests across India.

About the 8-year-old girl from Kathua in Jammu he wrote, “Good that she was killed at this age itself. Otherwise she would have grown up and come back as a suicide bomber against India.”

Nandakumar was an assistant manager of the Palarivattom branch of the bank.

The child was raped and murdered in Jammu and people across the country are mourning for her and protesting against the defenders of rapists.

The Facebook post of Vishnu Nandakumar from Kerala was heavily condemned and went viral. Thousands of people wrote to bank to terminate such employee. Some threatened to close their accounts too.

Meanwhile, overall ratings of the bank went down to one star on social media platform. People started downgrading Kotak Mahindra page on Facebook.

A post about debit cards on the bank’s Facebook page received over 34,000 comments and most of the people wrote to dismiss Nandakumar under couple of related hashtags like #justice_for_ASIFA and #dismiss_your_manager.

The bank terminated him on Wednesday citing poor performance.

India’s fourth largest private lender added, “It is extremelyn disheartening to see such comments being made in the aftermath of such tragedy by anyone.”

Meanwhile, in Unnao rape case the key accused, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, was arrested Friday by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
