Latest Instagram Update Does Not Restricts Uploading Square Images
Instagram has ended its rigid option for users to upload only square images. Now members can also publish rectangular-shaped photos. Similarly, the videos too can be uploaded with edges. Earlier the edges were to be removed before uploading.
Hence, there is no need to keep in mind several aspect ratios before uploading images on Instagram.
Instagram now allows simply opting for a photo in the app, which will automatically make the images square by default.
In an official blog post, the social giant writes 20 percent of the images that are uploaded on their platform are not of square-shape and this has been an issue to them since the beginning.
The newest update of Instagram will allow users to add images in a much easier way and particularly the advertisers will find it very useful.
It is considered the update is huge and big as users will also get chance to toy with filters.
