Mark August 2. Samsung Launching Note 7

And finally the rumors surrounding Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is coming to an end. The company has sent invites to media houses for an on August 2 mentioning the large device is to be launched.

Usually the South Korean giant fails to mention name of the device before the launching, but the latest invites hints Galaxy Note 7 will be launched on the day. Samsung writes, “7 Unpacked.”

The Note version of Galaxy has its own enthusiasts having certain needs and hence the Note 7 is being much awaited. The predecessor, Note 5, was a bit of disappointing for not accommodating microSD card slot and hence it is learned Samsung won’t be making the same mistake with the Note 7.

It is also to note there is a jump from Note 5 to Note 7 in the naming, skipping Note 6. It may be the Note version number is to be aligned with the other Galaxy device each year.

It is not yet known whether the Galaxy Note 7 to come with removable battery.

Other rumors suggest the Note 7 to come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 or Exynos 8893 processor and 6GB of RAM. The phone to come in three variants in terms of on-board storage – 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. It is to be mounted with a 12-megapixel rear camera.
