Microsoft’s New Xbox One S Launching In August
The upcoming Xbox One S is revealed to be having similar hardware inside like the 2013-released Xbox One. However, it will be much slimmer in design, about 40 percent less in volume.
Microsoft announced earlier today its much awaited Xbox One S will be launched in August. It will come priced tagged at $299 and to be equipped with High Dynamic Range (HDR) gaming added with some of the additional levels of brightness and colors too.
Ahead of the E3 event pictures of the gaming console was leaked revealing to include 4K DVD as well as Blu-Ray playback.
Microsoft also announced a new console dubbed as Project Scorpio. It will offer virtual reality and gaming in 4K too.
About the new Xbox One S it is something unusual to release a new version in mid-cycle.
Ahead of the E3 Microsoft is reported to have told BBC they are now in a bit uncharted waters and risk of market saturated may exist.
Sony meanwhile too is coming up with its upgraded version of the PS4 console early next year.
Microsoft maintained tight lips about the much talked about of its upcoming augmented reality headset dubbed as Hololens at the event.
