Modi to address rally in Bengaluru on Saturday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing a rally on Saturday at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru and Bharatiya Janata Party is expecting a crowd of around 2 lakh people from Bengaluru North, Bengaluru South, Bengaluru Rural and Chikkaballapur.

This is the second rally of Modi in Karnataka in a space of four days and he is expected to start at 4.30 pm. The last ralllies he addressed in the state was at Chitradurga and Mysuru.

According to BJP campaign committee head R Ashoka the venue is lucky fur the party and in last Lok Sabha elections the PM addressed large crowds in rallies.

The party has installed eleven large LCDs screns at the venue and it is learned about 11,000 people have registered through online to take part in Saturday’s rally.

Meanwhile, police have made all the security arrangements and commuters may fund traffic jams on roads leading to Palace Grounds.

Meanwhile, Russia has awarded its highest state honor to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for promoting bilateral special and privileged strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and Republic of India.

A Russian government statement said Modi was decorated with the Order of St Andrew the Apostle and it was extended on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
