Modi to file nomination from Varanasi

Addressing to a rally in Varanasi after a massive show of strength on Thursday Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the New India gives befitting reply to terrorism.

Stressing further on national security Modi talked about the Balakot air strike the country launched as an answer to terror attacks in Pulwama district of Kashmir by Pakistan-based terror organization that killed forty Indian paramilitary men.

The prime minister said his government has dealt with terrorism effectively.

Modi talked about the recent explosions across several churches and hotels in Sri Lanka saying people observing Easter lost their lives.

The senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader will be filing his nomination from Varanasi constituency on Friday. He said in past five years his government were sincere about putting efforts to projects and the next give years will be the era of results.

Meanwhile, his roadshow of strength drew massive crowd and the PM was joined by BJP president Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath too along with several other leaders.

Latley it was speculated Congress is to field Priyanka Gandhi Vadra against Modi from the temple town but the suspense came to an end after Ajay Rai’s name was announced as candidature for the Lok Sabha elections.

Earlier this year in February Modi flagged off semi-high speed Vande Bharat Express, rechristened from Train 18.

Modi to file nomination from Varanasi

The Vande Bharat Express can run up to a maximum speed of 160 kmph and to cover a distance of 752 km from Delhi to Varanasi in just eight hours.

It is India’s first engine-less train and built in about 18 months. The Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, is the force behind its in-house design and manufacturing.
