Modi’s affidavit reveals asset up by 52%; No liabilities
Prime Minister Narendra Modi filed affidavit Friday along with nomination papers in Varanasi declaring his assets and liabilities. It is learned since 2014 his movable assets have grown by 53 percent and much of it is from fixed deposits in State Bank of India.
Modi stated his total assets are worth Rs 2.51 crore including movable assets of Rs 1,41,36,119, which is more than 100 percent compared to that of 2014.
The primary source of income of the prime minister is income received from the government in form of salary and interest earned on his savings.
As per the submitted affidavit Modi has no liabilities.
In the education category the senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader mentions have completed graduation from Delhi University in 1978 and thereafter post-graduate in 1983 from Gujarat University in Ahmedabad.
