Narendra Modi roars high against congress in Goa rally
BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi came upon congress harshly in Goa rally. He blamed congress for playing vote bank politics. He attacked home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde over his decision to review terror cases against the people belonging to the minority community.
He pointed out that crime and terror don’t have any religion and said that it is really shameful on the part of Sushil Kumar Shinde to take any such decisions. He said that whoever commits a crime is liable to be punished and should be punished irrespective of his/her religion.
BJP has come upon Shinde on this issue for quite a time. Under the criminal law only the judge and the prosecutor can withdraw the case. Modi said that home minister has no role to play there in withdrawing the case.
Modi also raised the issue of jayanthi tax. He said that he had come to know from people that files were not moving without money in environment ministry. He said that he knew about a number of taxes but jayanthi tax was something new. Jayanti Natarajan later on said that he was making vague remarks on her. She said that Modi tried to attack her ever since she had raised issues against the environmental rules violation in BJP ruled Gujrat.
He also blamed congress for having wasted the first 50 years of independence. He said that they had centralized the power which was really useless on our part.
