Naveen Patnaik will not win: Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed the people in coastal Odisha to elect such candidate who can protect India from enemies.

He talked about anti-satellite missile test and Balakot air force strike against terror organization in Pakistan occupied Kashmir while counting the achievements of his five-year government.

Modi said the anti-satellite missile testing established the country as a super power in space and people are proud of it.

Penetration of Bharatiya Janata Party in coastal Odisha is being claimed to be a double-engine growth for the country if the party comes to power in state too along with the centre.

Tuesday was the fifth visit of Modi in Odisha and the state is having general elections and assembly elections simultaneously. Modi was campaigning for former BJD MP from Kendrapara, Baijayant Panda.

Modi said, “During the first and second phases, I respected the sanctity of the electionsand avoided discussing Naveen babu. Since he has served Odisha for so long, I wanted his farewell to be a good one. I was quiet out of respect for him.”

The senior BJP leader added the going out of Naveen Patnaik is imminent and handful of officers who are supporting violence cannot save him.

Modi appealed, “Give five years to the BJP to serve you in Bhubaneswar. I promise, we will do five times what has been done here in 19 years. If you want to transform Odisha, give us a chance.”
