Pak Army recovers dead bodies of soldiers raising white flag

Indian Army gunned down two Pakistani soldiers on September 10-11 in the Hajipur sector of PoK and Pakistan tried to recover the body by intensifying ceasefire violation, but failed.

Two days later, on September 13, the Pakistan Army raised white flag to recover the bodies.

According to Indian Army sources, the Pakistan Army failed to recover the dead bodies of its soldiers for two days despite repeated attempts.

The sources added that Indian Army respects the dead and hence it allowed the army of other side of the border to collect the bodies.

However, it is important to note here that the Pakistan Army did not attempted taking away bodies of their seven soldiers who were killed in the Keran sector on the night of July 30-31.

It is also learned the country had earlier disowned soldiers killed in the Kargil war and Indian Army had to perform the last rites during the war.
