In a major twist on the way of the coming LOKSABHA POLLS ,  Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) has joined hands with BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for the forthcoming Lok Sabha election.  Now, LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan is likely to meet BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in this regard.

This has come as a severe jolt to RJD chief Lalu Prasad, who wanted alliance of his party with Congress and LJP in the Lok Sabha polls to take on BJP and JD (U). A day earlier, Lalu Prasad had said that he would form an alliance with the Congress and the LJP “to stop communal forces”.  former Bihar deputy chief minister and BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi brokered the deal.

In 2009, LJP had contested Lok Sabha polls in alliance with Congress and RJD in Bihar, but was left with no seat.
