The #MeToo movement has gained immense momentum in India and the latest victims of accused sexual harassment is director Sajid Khan, who is well known for directing films like Humshakals and Housefull.

Sajid Khan

Brother of famous director Farah Khan he is being accused by three women, actor Rachel White, assistant director Saloni Chopra and a journalist, of harassment.

Chopra said the casting director wanted her to become the director’s assistant and not an assistant director. Other harassment included like talk of how sex was mental connection and whether she would get a breast job done.

In her post she added, “It took me years to get over the trauma he put me through. I was so scared around the people I worked with. And I’m sure he’s done this to so many other girls, I just want them to know they’re not alone. It’s been 7 years, and it’s about time I said it out loud.”

Similarly Rachel narrated her own trauma with tweets and retweets saying during the making of Humshakals she was asked by Sajid Khan to strip on the pretext that she will have a bikini role in the film.

Rachel added, “I was in a white vest and blue denims and still felt I was standing nude with that gaze. What happens next is that he finishes his cardio and walks up to me asking me about my b**bs and making that kind of conversation. I didn’t bother to answer to anything.”

Journalist Karishma Upadhyay shered saying Sajid Khan flashed his penis at her when she had been to him to take his interview in early 2000s.
