Salman Khurshid made fun of the Supreme Court and the Election Commission. Khurshid said that, there are instructions issued by the Election Commission, which is scheduled to run the party’s election to lose, no question of winning.

Khurshid also slammed Supreme Court judges saying they need to get their act together instead of directing Parliamentarians to do so. He also said that courts in India make all the decisions even to the extent of who can go to Parliament and who can’t.

“Judges sit and they say this is not to happen and of course go to the extent of threatening contempt proceedings against officials. Two judges can say anything about Parliamentarians that they will be allowed to contest or not, what kind of affidavit they have to file, what they can do and so on,” he said.

Salman Khurshid did not stop here. He criticized the Supreme Court instead of the Supreme Court instructed MPs to do their job. There are court decisions in India, he said. It also determines how and to whom no man ought to be Parliament.

Khurshid also reportedly slammed Jagdambika Pal, describing the former Congress leader as greedy and fickle-minded.

Pal had upset Khurshid by raking up the controversy over a trust run by the minister’s family.

Addressing a press conference, Pal had claimed that a camp claimed to have been set up in district Siddhartnagar in 2009-2010 by the Zakir Hussain Memorial Trust to help physically challenged was not held at all.
