Suncity World School celebrates Annual Sports Fiesta

-Elementary section takes centre stage

-Tiny tots enthrall spectators with spectacular performance

Gurgaon: To bring out the true sportsmanship in every child, Suncity World School, Elementary Years Programme celebrated Annual Sports Feista in the school. Centered on the theme ‘Joie- de -Vivre,’ enthusiastic tiny tots took the centre stage delivering spectacular performance.

The event was declared open by Principal Ms Rupa Chakravarty. The show began with according a warm welcome to parents. The pre-nursery school kids were first to captivate the audience by performing the carnival parade holding flags and playing drums, trumpets and tambourine.

Kindergarten children performed a spectacular display of co-ordination through ‘Tom & Jerry’ drill and entertained the audience with their humorous moves. They also presented a magnificent display of acrobatics where the children did cartwheels, made human bridge and splits. The show stopper was a head stand by a Kindergarten child.

To mark the importance of being happy, the children of Nursery presented a colourful and vibrant ‘Clown Drill’. They all were dressed up as clowns and grabbed the attention of the audience with their funny clown tricks which brought smiles on everyone’s face.

The children also participated in other activities like Duck race, Butterfly race, Green Tea race, Charlie Chaplin race and Clown race.

“Every child is special, with their unique combination of abilities and strength. The idea behind organizing such events is to bring out the hidden talent in every child. At Suncity World School , we strive to achieve a balance between academics and extra-curricular activities. Sports play a great role in children’s life as it keeps them healthy and active,” said Ms Rupa Chakravarty, Principal, Suncity World School .

The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Saisha Agarwal, a student of Kindergarten, followed by the National Anthem.
