The Boxing Wishlist You Need to Read

We’d like to name a few fights that people are desperately wanting to see in 2019.

Deontay Wilder – Anthony Joshua: This fight is an obvious one in the list, because the fans have been waiting long enough to watch the two boxers in the ring.

Deontay wilder – Tyson Fury II: There was abundant drama, tension, clash of style, fierce punching power, amazing boxing skills, captivating final round along with a controversial decision in the end, in the first match between the two boxers. That, in fact, definitely calls for a re-match.

Naoya Inoue – Srisaket Sor Rungvisai: Fans are anticipating a special match between the two, with Inoue being a fearsome puncher, and Rungvisai being a solid warrior. Victory over one is going to be quite interesting, adding this match to the wishlist.

Oleksandr Usyk – Andre Ward: What makes this match a real excitement is the return of former unified world champion from retiring last year. This 34 years old boxer was ranked the best active boxer in the world. Usyk on the other hand, is considered an elite fighter. It would be fascinating to see both in the ring, fighting for the title.

Errol Spence – Keith Thurman: With so many recent injuries, Thurman is still looking forward to getting back for a match, and Errol Spence being the IBF welterweight champion, this match will give the fan enough blood rush. Undoubtedly going in the wishlist.

Vasyl Lomachenko – Mikey Garcia: Lomachenko wants a fight with Garcia, and the latter is expected to have a match with Errol Spence, the IBF welterweight champion. However, if Lomachenko and Garcia are meant to get in the ring, it would give the most unbelievable boxing competition to the audience. Can Garcia bring the best of Loma, or would he defeat him for the trophy?

Gennady Golovkin – Canelo Alvarez III: Fans are counting reason over their fingers for a match between these two boxers. One of the major reason would be the past gripping encounter, with no affirmation on who could actually win the match, even when 24-rounds were done.

While the heavyweights will continue to keep the fans engaged, there will be enough hearsays and hopes on the list of matches that might or might not happens this coming year.

Few more from the wishlist 2019:

• Oleksandr Usyk at heavyweight
• Terence Crawford vs. Errol Spence Jr.
• Dmitry Bivol vs. Oleksandr Gvozdyk
• Canelo Alvarez vs. Daniel Jacobs
• Naoya Inoue vs. Luis Nery
• Srisaket Sor Rungvisai vs. Jerwin Ancajas
