Trump believes India would take strong action against Pakistan

The aftermath of Pulwama attack is going to be very dangerous and India seems to be very strong and serious in response, said US President Donald Trump.

Trump, Pakistan

He called the attack as a horrible situation and White House would soon issue a statement on it. UN National Security Advisor John Bolton and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had earlier issued statements and naming Pakistan in both.

Earlier this week, UN Security Council issued a statement naming terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad and calling the attack as heinous and cowardly suicide bombing.

Sources in India believe Trump as well as France would put pressure on Pakistan to crack down heavily on JeM terror outfit based in its country.

The sources added, “Restraint is not in the lexicon when it comes to their interests. So, Trump’s language about ‘something very strong’ comes from that perspective… India is looking at something very strong. And I mean, India just lost almost 50 people with an attack. So, I could understand that also.”

It is learned the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is closely monitoring the move of Pakistan.

Meanwhile, security agencies in Mumbai have been warned to stay alert following intelligence report of terror attacks possibility in next three months or more. Railway stations were seen Friday stepped up safety measures and alert was issued.

According to local newspaper security of Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Raigad were increased and police security was stepped up across Maharashtra too apart from Mumbai.
