Tumblr Launching Live Video Feature

Amid big competition among the social media content trend it seems the live video feature will stay for sometime in future and will attract more users than before. Tumblr too is in the race and is learned to be launching a new live video feature on Tuesday.

It is said the new live video feature of Tumblr is targeted to compete against other social media sites including Facebook, which already got a similar feature.

The live video feature is being teased on blog. From the promos it is revealed the present live video lineup includes a broadcast from the surface of Mars at 4 p.m. EDT on June 21. It will be of 10 minutes and thereafter followed by a Q&A with New York graphic designer and blogger Adam J. Kurtz.

It is understood from the schedule the videos will be short, sweet and to the point, and of course different from the one featured on Facebook Live.

Tumblr is a platform for bloggers and hence the new feature will be ideal place for online writers and online personalities.

The other players who are in the live video streaming includes Twitter, YouTube and Amazon.
