Twitter Offer Instant News Feed to New Users

Soon, the new Twitter users will have access to a home page with relevant tweets immediately after registration to accelerate their integration to the platform.

Those who are on Twitter will remember for a long time, perhaps the day they have subscribed: if they had no idea who to follow on the network, their news feed was blank, soulless, without a life. A defect that afflicts Twitter since its inception, but that is about to change.

In the experience of Goel, the result was so attractive that the journalist was reluctant to remove the current profile and replace it with the new account.

Indeed, according to the journalist Vindu Goel, New York Times, Twitter has recently deployed a new feature designed to allow new users to join the conversation quickly. Appointed time, timeline (or wireless flash news), the function was reported by the company to its investors last November.Since last week, it is hidden in the latest version of the Android application, but was manifested at the moment among a portion of the new users.

For those who have had the chance to use the new function, the registration process is unchanged. After choosing your user name and password, the application asks you to access your contacts. Once access is granted, Twitter notes the persons enrolled in his service, and invite you to follow them.

Comes in the algorithm behind the flash news feed. This analysis essentially users who are in your contacts further, and determines the accounts with which they interacted more frequently to build a list of tweets (specific users) may be of interest. If most of your friends are following Cuisine profiles, expect to see a series of cooking tips rather than selfies with strangers.

The function will be deployed in a few months

According to the personal experience of Goel, the result was so attractive that the journalist was reluctant to remove the current profile and replace it with the new account. Yet it remains to be seen if Twitter plans to produce a version of his new position in order to perfect the Newsfeed of its veterans.

The company does benefit from its instantaneous news feed to include more sponsored tweets? An inevitable question that Twitter certainly try to answer sensitively at the official unveiling of said function.

If the testing runs smoothly, Twitter aims to deploy timeline moment to all of its new users in a few months.
