With Modi’s name BJP to win more than 74 seats in UP: Yogi

With the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the Bharatiya Janata Party would win more than 74 seats in Uttar Pradesh, said state chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

The Uttar Pradesh CM has won five consecutive Lok Sabha elections from Gorakhpur, but in the upcoming polls he is shouldering, for the first time, responsibility of leading BJP’s charge in the state.

Yogi claims both BSP and SP are unpopular political parties in the state and mass is contented with Modi’s government’s five-year performance.

He added the country’s image has been improved internationally and today the world is considering India as an economic power.

Talking about Amethi constituency from where Congress president Rahul Gandhi is contesting he said the seat will be grabbed by BJP. He talked the same for Azamgarh from where SP chief Akhilesh Yadav will be fighting the upcoming elections.

Yogi said he is confident in winning more than 74 seats in Uttar Pradesh as the previous governments led by BSP and SP had not taken interest in development of UP, but instead both concentrated on casts and families.
