Xiaomi’s Mi Band 2 Smartwatch Releasing On May 10
Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has announced of coming up with the next-generation of its smartwatch – Mi Band 2.
Xiaomi is known for offering dirt cheap smartphones equipped with high-end specs and bundled in metal bodies. The company to be releasing a new smartphone too with the wearable lineup.
A report published by Wearable says the new smartwatch has been spotted on the wrist of the founder of the company, Lei Jun, during a live broadcast.
It is being said the new smartwatch will be completely overhauled and on the LCD display can be seen the time showing on activity tracker.
The device looks like a clone of Fitbit Charge HR, writes a tech blog.
The new upcoming smartphone of the company would be dubbed as Xiomi Max. It is said to be sporting a 6.4-inch screen. Official teasers reveal it to be releasing on May 10. This speculates the smartwatch to come on the same day.
The Mi Band was priced $14.99. The Mi Band 2 too may carry similar tag.
