Amid the political crisis in the formation of Maharashtra government Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said one needs to take 100 births to understand the words of NCP President Sharad Pawar.

Raut was referring to the recent comment of Pawar who seems taking virtual U-turn on the formation of Maha government by three parties – Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress.

He said that there is no doubt in Sena on the matter of Maharashtra government formation.

He added, “You don’t worry about Pawar and our alliance. Very soon, by early-December, a Shiv Sena-led alliance government will be in power in Maharashtra. It will be a stable government.”

Meanwhile, Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi had a meeting with her party’s senior leaders including KC Venugopal, Mallikarjun Kharge, AK Antony and Ahmed Patel for the formation of Maharashtra government in a three-party formula – Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress.

Congress is learned to be holding talks with NCP to finalize the draft common minimum programme. Currently the three parties are negotiating for portfolios of finance, home, housing, revenue and cooperatives.

If believed to sources, the first term of chief ministership could go to the Shiv Sena and Congress to get Speaker’s post as well as a deputy chief minister post. NCP probably to get post of legislative council chairman.
