Flagging abusive tweets and accounts have now become a lot easier on Twitter. The process of reporting abusive tweets has been improved immensely by Twitter now. The popular social networking site has made reporting of abusive tweets more mobile user friendly that will not require a lot of initial information like before.

Twitter in a blog post has said that the enhancements they have made in the reporting system will help in improving the reporting process for users who get abused on the social network. To make the reporting a speedy process, Twitter has made several behind the scenes improvements to its processes and tools that will help them to review the reported tweets and reports in a quick and efficient manner.

Twitter users are offered the facility to take a look at the accounts that have been blocked by Twitter by visiting the new blocked accounts page. This is listed under the settings menu on website. Twitter has promised its users that it will soon be adding more features and controls to the new blocked accounts page. The accounts that users block will not be able to view the profile of the user anymore.

Twitter support carried out a new message on 2nd December that read as follows, “Starting today we’re rolling out an improved way to flag abusive Tweets. See how it works.” Twitter had to do something in order to satisfy their users and to prevent dropping of users to the Facebook social site that has simplified its privacy policy lately. There was a new tool called “Privacy Basics” that was introduced recently by Facebook, which is a new set of interactive animated guides to help users to know how they can control what they are sharing on the Facebook site.

Twitter has not been having a good time of it lately as it had received a lot of flak from its users for tracking the apps that are on the user’s Smartphones in order to show more targeted ads to the users. Twitter now has plans to use the app graph to offer ‘tailored experience’ to its users on the platform.
