This is the new Smartphone launched by Adcom last Thursday and the phone is launched at an attractive price of Rs. 2,999. The maximum retail price of the phone is Rs. 4,500, but it is now sold at a launch price of just Rs. 2,999. This phone is available across all the leading mobile phone outlets across the country.

The budget Smartphone KitKat A 40 runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat and is powered by a powerful 1.2 GHz quad core processor with 256 MB RAM. The screen size of this phone is 4 inches and it comes with WVGA LCD display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The phone boasts of a 2.0 megapixel rear camera accompanied by a flash. The Smartphone also houses a 1.3 megapixel front camera that you can use to take your selfies easily. The Smartphone comes with a 512 MB inbuilt storage space that you can use to store your photos, videos and MP3 songs. You can expand the memory to about 64 GB by using a micro SD card that you can insert into the micro SD slot provided on the phone.

The dimensions of the Adcom KitKat A 40 are 126.5 x 63.5 x 11.5 mm. The handset also comes with a 1650 mAh Lithium ion battery that offers reasonable standby and talk time for frequent callers and video watchers. Some of the other popular features of the Adcom KitKat A40 include: Bluetooth connectivity, Micro –USB connectivity options, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPRS/Edge and FM Radio. The company is also offering a free screen guard and a back cover worth Rs. 399 free with every KitKat A40.

Adcom has been consistently trying to improve on its budget Smartphone range and the company is looking to inflate the market with cost effective and feature-rich Smartphone so that every person along the length and breadth of India uses a Smartphone that does not bear a huge hole in their pockets. Adcom also came out with a budget Android KitKat powered Smartphone called KitKatA35 or Rs. 2,799 in September this year.
