India registered an unimpressive win against Hong Kong in the 4th match of Asia Cup 2018 in Dubai on Tuesday. Batting first and with a massive contribution of 127 runs out of 120 balls by Shikhar Dhaawn the country set a stiff target of 286 runs.

It was the opening group league match for both the nations and opening pair of Hong Kong, Nizakat Khan and skipper Anshuman Rath, made a record 174 runs in partnership. It was the highest partnership for the team in ODI cricket.

Khan made 92 in 115 balls before getting LBW by Khaleel Ahmed and Rath hit 73 runs out of 97 balls and was caught out by Rohit Sharma under the bowling of Kuldeep Yadav. Breaking the partnership was call of the time for the Indians and the breakthrough came in the 35th over. Following the first wicket the second came to the earliest, in next over. Debutant Khaleel Ahmed took the LBW of Khan.

At the Indian end Dhawan hit 15 boundaries and two sixes before making century.
