5G spectrums started rolling out back in 2019, but that does not mean much if you do not have a 5G phone. Due to this, immediately after the launch of 5G, many different phone companies jumped in to offer their 5G phones. Most of which were limited in their features apart from the 5G compatibility.

But in 2020, you can expect to see way more worthy 5G phones that deserve your attention. Samsung is the biggest player in this market, undoubtedly.

The company has been rolling high-level flagship smartphones with 5G support. They are making sure to roll out all the Galaxy S20 phones by keeping in mind the future demand for 5G phones.

5G is very ambitious and often attractive to users. Still, you must know that even with a stable rollout of 5G connections, replacing the stability and trust developed by 4G would be a slow yet sure task.

5G has a wide range of benefits ranging from exceptional speed and broader connectivity. Apart from retail users, many industries will use 5G connectivity for their business, including self-driving cars, drones, and the internet.

As mentioned above, the most popular 5G phones are usually launched by Samsung. Be it the Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G or a budget-oriented Galaxy A90. Samsung seems to be running the market.

But in 2020, you can see a lot of new and old players jump on the trend to launch their own 5G phones, including oneplus, LG, and Nokia, to name a few.

All of these benefits that the 5G carriers may promise are useless if you do not have the right 5G phone to make the best use of its robust network.

So, we have listed some of the best 5G phones that are released or expected to be released soon, to assist you in choosing the right one as per your budget and preference.

OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro

We are all aware of the fact that OnePlus phones are neither cheap and nor are they expected to be. Still, the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro promises quality performance along with being surprisingly affordable.

Oneplus 8 pro is an advanced version of the two flagship device that packs a 120Hz display along with a telephoto camera.

When we are talking about androids, the OnePlus devices have always been top-notch. The Chinese company is never late in updating their devices or coming with new launches with the most recent technologies, and 5G was not left out either.

Naturally, Oneplus 8 is a more affordable option if the price is an issue for you, but don’t worry as it has minor differences and still supports 5G along with having a great 90Hz display and a flagship high-speed processor.

LG V60 ThinQ 5G

This high-end Android smartphone launched by LG is one of the most technologically advanced smartphones in this list. It goes without saying that the LG V60 ThinQ 5G supports 5G connectivity, but there is way more to the phone than this.

This device has a case accessory that enables users of this smartphone to use two different screens at a time (or simply as a tablet), the feature is being called ‘Dual screen”.

There is a catch though, in the LG V60 ThinQ 5G dual screens, there is a big hinge in between the two screens (that allows it to fold like the traditional flip covers) that can really set the device back in the race for dual-screen smartphone devices.

But overall, the LG flagship is a really comprehensive gadget that you must consider for its books like display and 5G support.

Motorola Edge Plus

IF you are looking for a modern smartphone that packs almost everything, then you must review the Motorola Edge Plus. The smartphone comes with 5G features, a massive battery, and a powerful Snapdragon 865 chipset.

Apart from these technical specs, the Motorola Edge Plus also has a visually stunning OLED screen that comes with a high refresh rate.

Moreover, if you are also looking for a camera with brilliant shooting qualities, you must consider this because it rocks multiple rear cameras to provide crisp shots.

The only downside we would assign to this otherwise flawless smartphone is the price range. It can range up to 1000 dollars, which could be too much for most users.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G

As mentioned earlier, Samsung was one of the fastest companies to launch high-end 5G phones in 2019. Samsung launched the infamous Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus 5G in the same year.

The Galaxy Note 10 Plus a premium phone that ticks all the boxes, from the excellent camera quality to a mesmerizing 6.8-inch screen to long all-day battery life, the Galaxy has it all.

Samsung originally launched its Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus with these features and later came through with its 5G variant, which is understandably more expensive but is surely one of the most popular 5G phones in the market.

Nokia 8.3

It is general knowledge that Nokia is not holding the same position in the smartphone business right now, and it has was on the top 15 years ago. But Nokia is trying to revive the market portion by launching a Nokia 5G phone.

The Nokia 8.3 is a phone that has “global 5G” capabilities. The global addition means you can use G while traveling abroad as well. We can safely say that we have not seen any other major company’ that has launched a smartphone that is capable of doing so.

This is not the only manner in which Nokia can benefit from the Nokia 5G though; Nokia also has patent rights to 5G technology along with Ericsson and Qualcomm, which means they will earn up to $3.50 for each 5G phone sold.

What about Apple and Google?

It may come as a surprise to most that the two biggies in the smartphone markets have not yet released a 5G phone. There are rumors of Apple’s iPhone 12 coming with the 5G support, but they are just that, and for Google devices, there has been no news regarding Pixel 5G phones.

It is expected that Apple and Google would soon enter the game with 5G phones, but there is not an official date for either of them.

If we have learned something from our past, then it is that new smartphones swarm the shops with that technology whenever a new technology comes into the market.

Looking at the inevitable potential of 5G phones, we can say that more and more companies will soon launch their own 5G phones to tap the demand.
