BJP releases manifesto, vows making India developed by 2047

Bharatiya Janata Party manifesto committee head Rajnath Singh called Monday the party’s manifesto as a “vision document” and said nationalism is their inspiration and governance is the mantra.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released so-called BJP’s ‘sankalp patra’ in the presence of party’s top brass and said the manifesto aims at making the country a developed nation by 2047 when Inia will complete 100 years of independence.

Union home minister Rajnath Singh added, “We are fully committed on nationalism and zero tolerance towards terrorism.”

He said the saffron party is committed towards implementing a Uniform Civil Code in India and Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir will be constructed in the most conclucive manner.

The party has promised spending Rs 25 lakh crore for rural development in the period of next five years.

Singh said, “Will give Rs 6,000 yearly income support to farmers and pension to small and marginal farmers above 60 years of age.”

The manifesto mentions about 1.5 lakh health and welfare centre and 75 medical colleges as well as PG medical colleges will be opened across India.

Addressing to the problems in Jammu and Kashmir the document adds BJP stands committed to annuling Article 35A of the Constitution.

Talking about giving greater purchasing power to middle income families the manifesto adds tax slabs and tax benefits will be revised to ensure more cash among the segment.
