BJP Wins Congress Loses In Karnataka Assembly Polls

People is seeking good governance and so Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won the Karnataka election and Congress is losing state after state lately, said Union HRD minister and BJP’s Karnataka-in-charge Prakash Javadekar.

The state went into vote on May 12 to elect new chief minister and it was widely seen as litmus paper for Congress President Rahul Gandhi who lost several elections in recent past after holding the chair of leadership.

In the exit polls earlier six out of eight surveys predicted BJP to come into power in the state with majority votes.

Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership in the Karnataka Assembly polls.

Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee congratulated the BJP with suggestion to fight back to those who lost the Karnataka Assembly elections.

She added if Congress would had gone into aliance with JD(S) the result would have been very different.

Defending Rahul Gandhi, the Karnatak minister DK Shivakumar said the efforts of local leadership failed to pull through while Rahul Gandhi did his best.

The Congress office in the state looked empty today while the same for BJP was crowded and joyous.
