Congress not even worth 50 seats: Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed Friday while addressing to a rally in Maharashtra that even fifty seats won’t go in favor of Congress in this Lok Sabha elections.

Citing a survey in support his claim the senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader urged the voters not to waste their votes and better vote to such a party that is going to emerge victorious.

Attacking the Congress Modi said the party neglected police forces and turned it into a punching bag when it was in power.

Earlier the Congress and other opposition parties attacked BJP for fielding Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and her remarks about 26/11 Mumbai terror attack martyr police officer Hemant Karkare.

The PM said, “The Congress attitude has been to change chief ministers and home ministers following terror attacks, we have changed that culture.”

Modi continued saying that Congress did nothing for the security forces and on top of it underlined his government’s decision of building a police memorial in the capital.

Citing the achievement in making telephone bills lower Modi said the efforts of his government made calling almost free and even data price has become the cheapest in the world.

Modi said his government follows the agenda of ‘Mumbai first’ and works on bullet trains and metro network are in progress in the financial capital city.

He said the city will be having 275 km of metro network in coming few years.
