West Bengal Chief Minister, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee has crossed all the limits in her election campaigns by saying she does not consider Narendra Modi as the prime minister of India, said External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.

The minister was reacting to Banerjee’s recent comment that Modsi is not any more considered as Narendra Modi as the country’s prime minister.

Banerjee refused a meeting with Modi on Monday over Cyclone Fani for not considering him as PM.

Addressing to a rally in West Bengal’s Jhargram constituency Banerjee said she didn’t sit for meeting with Modi on the same platform and will be talking to the next prime minister over any issue.

She added that her government is strong enough in the state to take care of cyclone damage and Center’s help is not required just ahead of polls.

In one another rally on the same day in Bishoi constituency of the state the chief minister asked how Modi could take care of the citizens if he has not been able to take care of his wife.

In a tweet on Tuesday Sushma Swaraj wrote, “Mamata ji, you have crossed all limits. You are the chief minister and Narendra Modi is the country’s prime minister. Tomorrow, you will have to talk to him. This reminds me of a couplet by Bashir Badr – Harbour animosity but to the extent that if tomorrow we become friends, you don’t have to be ashamed.”
