Mamata Banerjee insulting Indian constitution: Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in West Bengal’s Bankura constituency Thursday and said Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has insulted the Indian constitution by not accepting him as PM of the country.

Modi added that Banerjee publicly has said not ready to accept him as the PM of India, but she also feels proud in acknowledging Pakistan PM Imran Khan as Pakistan”s prime minister.

Modu alleged that Banerjee in not interested in the betterment of West Bengal.

The 68-year-old senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader further said that the TMC supremo said such out of anxiety of losing the elections.

Modi continued his attack on Banerjee saying she didn’t return his phone call when he tried contacting to discuss cyclone Fani.

In one of her recent rallies the TMC head described Modi as expiry PM and she will only be talking to the new prime minister following elections result is announced.

The PM said, “She did not take calls from me during the cyclone. The Central government wanted to sit with others of the state to discuss the situation, but Didi did not allow that too.”

Modu alleged that Banerjee in not interested in the betterment of West Bengal.

He added that Banerjee’s worry can be understood by the language she uses in her campaigns.

He said, “She is now talking about stones and slaps against me.”
