Masood Azhar is alive. The Jaish-e-Mohammed chief said in an audio clip through chat platforms that he is alive and doing well. He talked about Pulwama attack, India and liberals in Pakistan and ditched the fake news of his death that has been lately circulated in the media. He called on his followers to start a jihad against India for oppressing Kashmiris.

Masood Azhar is not dead

The 11:41 minutes audio clip was uploaded on the JeM chat platforms hours after the Pakistan government launched a crackdown on his outfit under National Action Plan (NAP). He warned the government to stop persecuting mosques and true Muslims.

Masood Azhar talked about several liberals including Malala Yousafzai and said Pakistan should not allow such people to take over the country as it is an Islamic country.

He said, “These liberals couldn’t tolerate the Islamiation of Pakistan under Zia-ul-Haq so just imagine what will happen if people like us rise against them.”

Zia-ul-Haq pushed for Sharization in Pakistan and he was responsible for turning the country into a global centre for political Islam.

He added that the political establishment in Pakistan has failed to understand the ploy of India and has succumbed under the pressure generated from all corners.

Pakistan’s foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi earlier said Masood Azhar is not well and couldn’t move out of his house.

In an interview with CNN he said India need to hand over acceptable proof for Pakistan authorities to arrest Masood Azhar.
