Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Thursday protesters to CAA should raise voice against Pakistan and not Indian Parliament as the Islamist country has failed giving relief to the victimized minorities for last more than seven decades.

The PM added Pakistan was founded on religious grounds and so atrocities on Hindu, Sikh, Christian and Jain minorities have increased and opposition parties including Congress don’t speak against it.

Modi further said it is the time now to expose neighboring Pakistan at international level and urged the protestors to shout against the atrocities that are happening against minorities there.

A day before the PM attacked opposition in a rally in Delhi saying, “Why is this conspiracy to shame India internationally going on? And I want to say if you don’t like it, then abuse Modi and hate Modi.”

Defending CAA he said the act was adopted by the Parliament in a historic move and Congress as well as its allies is now going against the very institution.

Modi added that India cannot leave the Pakistani minorities fleeing the country to their fate.

He further said that the act is an effort to also protect the tribals and Dalits in Pakistan.
